Perth Actors get ready to work with Stevie Ray from the Emmy nominated McGregor Casting. This is a rare opportunity for actors to work with undoubtedly one of Australia’s most prominent Casting Directors.
Stevie Ray is one of McGregors senior Casting Directors. They have cast shows for luminaries such as Claudia Karvan (Doctor Doctor), Rick Kalowski (Head of comedy ABC), Matt Skrobalak (Vice President talent and casting CBS studios), Joel Edgerton (Director, Actor) and too many more to mention. McGregor Casting have been nominated for a PRIMETIME EMMY AWARD for best casting in a mini series for Top of the Lake. They won a Casting Guild of Australia award for Last Cab to Darwin and nominated for two awards by the Casting Guild of America for Top of the Lake and Animal Kingdom which was nominated for an Oscar.

Course Details
DATE: Saturday 31st October
DURATION: 2 weeks
VENUE: ONLINE
COST: $240 (inc. gst)
PLACES STRICTLY LIMITED and open only to NON BEGINNER actors.
Week 1 – Saturday 31st October 10am to 1pm – All actors will join a ZOOM Online Masterclass where you can chat with Stevie Ray and participate on a Q&A. You can ask all those pertinent questions and have an intimate audience with Stevie Ray.
Week 2 – Actors will self tape a scene from a selection of scenes. You will have a week to do you tape. You will then submit the tape to Stevie. Stevie will offer detailed MP3 notes on your scene with suggestions, improvements and commentary on your scene.
While WA borders remain closed, SAC is committed to offering Perth actors opportunities to keep their teeth sharp and muscles flexed while in the safety of their own home. We understand that times are tough and so want to keep actors, inspired, challenged and working on their craft.
This course will be a valuable experience to work with and get inside the head of one of Australia’s top casting directors. We at SAC hope all Perth actors take advantage of this valuable opportunity to receive valuable, personal feedback from one of the best Casting Directors in Australia.
